Collaboration with Universities

Oskarshamn has a strong industry which is dependent on the universities and the technical colleges for competence supply, cutting-edge competence and innovation.

Oskarshamn is geographically far from the large universities and especially the technical universities..

To support the municipality’s and industry’s needs for competence supply, cutting-edge competence and innovation, Oskarshamn municipality has entered into long-term agreements with KTH, Linköping University and Linnaeus University. Nova is the municipality’s contact for the agreements and is responsible for implementation.

Through Nova, the municipality also has collaboration agreements in specific areas with Jönköping University and Linnaeus University.
